Attacks on ATMs never stop. In the current year, too, an ATM explodes almost every day in Germany. The blasts often cause significant damage to the buildings. So far, almost no one has been injured in the attacks, which is almost a miracle.

In view of the frequency and brutality of the bombing attacks, the measures taken by the police and banks seem helpless. There are investigation successes, arrests and sentences, but the demolitions continue. The banks invest 300 million euros in security measures over several years, they dismantle ATMs or have devices guarded, but the demolitions continue.

The possible targets of attack are numerous, after all, the Germans pay comparatively often with cash. Most recently there were around 50,000 ATMs in Germany.
