Arçelik, which has been producing since 1955, is preparing for a radical change. The company decided to gather its operations in Turkey and around the world under a common corporate brand. Thus, the Arçelik name is deleted after 69 years.
Arçelik will continue its activities under the name Beko
According to the statement made by Arçelik A.Ş. to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), its corporate brand will be Beko from now on. The change, which is stated by the company as “within the scope of globalization strategy”, will be valid for operations all over the world, including Türkiye.
Here is the statement made to KAP;
“Within the scope of our globalization strategy, the corporate brand of Arçelik A.Ş. in all geographies, including Turkey, will be used as Beko from now on, and thus, it is aimed to bring together our employees and operations all over the world under a common corporate brand.
In this context, the corporate names of our foreign subsidiaries are being changed to include the Beko corporate brand. Our company operates its activities in Turkey under Arçelik Pazarlama A.Ş. It will continue to do so with all its brands (Arçelik, Beko, Grundig, Altus, Leisure) that create local value, especially Arçelik. “
