C++ continues to rise
TIOBE Index shared the end-use rates of programming languages. According to the ranking made by TIOBE Index, Java has now lost its place among the three most popular programming languages. Java has been replaced by C++, whose popularity is increasing day by day.
According to the new shared ranking, Python ranks first, C second, C++ third and Java fourth. For the first time, C++ managed to outperform Java, according to TIOBE Index data. According to the latest figures, Java lost its place in the top three for the first time in the TIOBE data shared since 2001.

TIOBE Index, of course, does not mean a definite result for programming languages. The popularity of programming languages is measured by aggregating results from 25 different search engines. In other words, the ranking is based on searches made on popular platforms such as Google, Bing, Yahoo!, Wikipedia, Amazon, YouTube and Baidu.
C# keeps its fifth place in the ranking, followed by Visual Basic, Java Script, SQL, Assembly Language and PHP. R, Go, Classic Visual Basic, MATLAB, Swift, Delphi, Ruby, Perl, Objective-C and Rust round out the top 20. Among the top 20, MATLAB, Go, Objective-C and Rust stand out with their rise compared to last month.
