In the Threads application, a maximum of 500 characters is applied to all users for shares. Since there is no paid subscription option, it is not possible to increase it. Considering the free version, we can say that Threads stands out when it comes to sharing with longer texts.
Messaging feature
One of the features that are not missing in social media platforms is undoubtedly messaging. This feature, which is the simplest, only in applications with hundreds or even tens of users, is unfortunately not available in Threads for now. But it is expected to arrive soon. Twitter has a messaging feature. However, there is a daily limit of 500 direct messages for this. Of course, it cannot be said that this affects users who spend only a few minutes a day. Of course, as you can imagine, there is no limit for Blue subscribers.

Twitter allows users to share videos with a maximum length of 2 minutes and 20 seconds. Blue subscribers, on the other hand, can upload videos of 60 minutes in length, with a maximum file size of 2 GB.
Threads, on the other hand, offers users the opportunity to upload a maximum of 5 minutes of video. At this point, the application still has an edge over Twitter in the free version.
Discover
On the home page of the Twitter application, there are two tabs: For You and Following. In the For You section, popular tweets are randomly displayed, that is, it acts as a discover. On the Followed side, there are only the posts of the accounts you follow.
When we come to Threads, there is no separate page that functions like Twitter. Instead, the shares shared and recommended by the people followed are displayed together on the main page.
