The new Intel 800 series chipset platform will support Intel processors for at least two generations, including Meteor Lake-S and Arrow Lake-S. The platform will remove the existing LGA 1700/1800 socket and use the new LGA 1851 socket with a similar package size to the existing socket, ensuring heatsink compatibility remains intact. This platform will also come with Z890, H870, B860 and H810 solutions. 800 series motherboards will also support faster DDR5 memory.
