Time travel is perhaps one of the most seemingly impossible technologies in science fiction. According to most physicists, it may be possible to go back in time. But the journey to the future that most of us dream of does not seem possible. In this sense, Cambridge University scientists came up with an interesting research.

Quantum particle entanglement for time travel from scientists

Accordingly, the researchers created a kind of time travel simulation. The researchers relied on the principle of quantum entanglement for this simulation. But what is this quantum entanglement?

Although it is a rather complex theory, it operates on the premise that two or more particles cannot move independently of each other and affect each other.

Of course, entanglement is not such a simple concept, but in its simplest form, it is the movement of quantum particles in relation to each other. Based on this theory, scientists calculate the effect of a trip to the past.

NASA has successfully completed the OSIRIS-Rex mission. He is examining samples from the Bennu Asteroid sent by the spacecraft.

In the resulting simulation, the effect of a particle sent to the past is first calculated. Then, the impact of this piece on the other piece today is calculated. In this sense, according to quantum particle theory, the past and the present are connected.

In fact, scientists had previously proven the quantum particle theory. In short, it has been revealed that two quantum particles influence each other. In this sense, it is being tested what effect it will have if time travel occurs through two quantum pieces.

In fact, the easiest way to explain this is the Dejavu movie starring Denzel Washington. In this movie, a group of scientists sent small-scale materials, such as pieces of paper, into the past. Of course, scientists here are not at this stage. Currently, the theoretical answer to the question of how a quantum particle sent to the past will affect another particle in the present is being sought.

The first findings prove the theory of quantum particle entanglement. Of course, scientists have tried all of these in a simulation for now.
