The TCG Istanbul ship, the construction of which started in 2017 within the scope of the project in which Turkey aims to produce national ships, started its duty on the 100th anniversary of the Republic. TCG Istanbul Ship, whose production started within STM on January 19, 2017, started its duty this year. Subsequently, equipment produced with local and national resources began to be added to the ship. In this context, the National Vertical Launcher Launching System MİDLAS and HİSAR-D RF missile developed by Roketsan were also added to the ship.
The video shared by Roketsan official Twitter accounts shows the moments when the HİSAR-D RF missile was fired by the National Vertical Launcher Delivery System MİDLAS. Thanks to these systems integrated on the TCG Istanbul Ship, the ship acts as a great deterrent to enemy forces.
