There is a comprehensive fight against the FTX Hacker in the cryptocurrency world. His every move is being tracked right now. As Kriptokoin.com reported in the morning, there was significant activity in ThornChain. We stated that hackers would play a role in this movement. At this point, there is now a new development. Let’s look at the details.
THORSwap’s response to FTX hackers
THORSwap has taken decisive action in response to the recent increase in FTX hackers swapping significant amounts of Ethereum (ETH) for Bitcoin (BTC) across the chain via THORChain. Just two hours ago, the exchange platform announced that its services were suspended for maintenance. This move effectively cut off FTX hackers’ access to this particular exchange route.

Of course, this situation will inevitably lead to a situation. Let’s see what the alternative exchange route of FTX hackers will be like? In light of THORSwap’s suspension, the FTX hacker was forced to revert to using Threshold Network for exchange transactions. About an hour ago, they made a transaction involving 200 ETH (equivalent to $0.32 million). This ETH converted to 11.6 tBTC via the Metamask Swap feature. They then bridged it back to the Bitcoin network using the Threshold Network.
Current status of FTX Hacker’s ETH transactions
Currently the FTX hacker is orchestrating a series of ETH transactions. Accordingly, the hacker replaced 71,000 ETH with BTC along the chain via THORChain. On the other hand, 2,700 ETH have been replaced with 165 tBTC. It was also later bridged back to the Bitcoin network using the Threshold Network. On the other hand, 1,500 ETH were transferred through the privacy network known as RAILGUN.
The total amount of ETH held by the FTX hacker on the Ethereum network is 110,535 ETH. Accordingly, numerically it corresponds to approximately 233 million dollars.
Hacker’s wallet addresses
The FTX hacker manages his assets through a collection of 13 wallet addresses. It is noteworthy that five of these addresses are empty. The hacker must have made these for cash. The hacker inevitably tries to convert this amount into cash. Thus, it intends to draw it into the economic system and use it without any problems. However, at this point, it is obvious that this will not be easy. Now the hacker is trying to make a new move. But it is very difficult for the transparency of the blockchain to allow this.
As a result, THORSwap’s quick response disrupted the FTX hacker’s ETH to BTC exchange path. As the situation evolves, the crypto community is watching closely to see how these events will impact the hacker’s activities and the broader cryptocurrency landscape.
