Samsung’s dominance in Europe has been particularly notable. According to the report, the company captured 34 percent of the smartphone market in Europe. Samsung increased its market share in the USA from 20 percent in January to 36 percent in March.
Last year, Apple became the best-selling smartphone manufacturer worldwide for the first time. The company, which sold more than 229 million iPhones worldwide, surpassed Samsung, which sold 225 million. However, the technology giant’s leadership ended this year.
