Amazon CEO Adam Selipsky was on stage for the AWS re:Invent 2022 event. Important innovations were mentioned at this event, which will last until Friday, December 2nd. One of these innovations is the machine learning-based prediction feature with QuickSight Q. Therefore, the system, which was able to respond to simple language commands before, will now be able to make predictions on its own.

How does the analysis process work?

In fact, all users have to do here is to type “estimate” or “show me a forecast” in the search bar and then enter three pieces of information such as sales figures, income or expense. QuickSight Q presents the most appropriate analysis table to the customer with this information. You do not need to have any graphic or visualization knowledge to make these tables. In addition, users can see the sales figures for a certain time period. It can also filter out some data it doesn’t want to see.

One of the most important features added to QuickSight Q is that the system now supports the “why” question. Thanks to this innovation, someone who does not know how to analyze tables will be able to understand which factors lead to what results. For example, the sales figures of a product have dropped and you are wondering why, all you have to do is ask the system “why” and then listen to the analysis of the system.
