TFF announced: Who took the Spor Toto Super League tender?

The Turkish Football Federation announced that beIN SPORTS, which won the broadcast tender for Spor Toto Süper Lig on February 28, did not sign the relevant contract today. Therefore, beIN SPORTS has officially announced its withdrawal from the race. So who got the tender?

Digiturk has withdrawn from the table: Broadcasting rights have passed to Saran and TRT!

BeIN Sports, which currently holds the broadcasting rights of Spor Toto Süper Lig, announced that it has increased by 10 percent this year and made an offer of 2.1 billion TL. However, the TFF refused, saying that it did not find any of the offers made for the packages sufficient.

Thereupon, an agreement was entered into. But today, TFF announced that it could not reach an agreement with Digiturk, so the broadcasting rights passed to Saran Medya and TRT, which made the second highest bid at the relevant meeting.

TFF, sitting at the table to reach an agreement with Digiturk for Package 1-B, Package 1-C, Package 1-D, Package 1-E, Package 1-F, Package 2 and Package 3 within Package 4, stated that the agreement could not be reached for this reason. Saran International Film with the 2nd highest bid in packages. Organ. Rec. Trade sun. Inc. and TRT within the next 7 days by contacting them and inviting them to an agreement.

The relevant packages are as follows:

  • PACKAGE 1-A: Live broadcast rights of a total of 210 weekend Super League matches (238 matches for the 2022-23 season), 8 of which are derbies that coincide with the weekend
  • PACKAGE 1-B: Live broadcast rights of a total of 60 weekend Super League matches (68 matches for the 2022-23 season), 4 of which are derbies that coincide with the weekend
  • PACKAGE 1-C: Live broadcast rights of 36 weekdays Super League matches, 4 of which are derbies during the week
  • PACKAGE 1-D: Live broadcast rights and summaries of TFF 1st League matches, and editorial image rights with extensive summaries of Super League matches
  • PACKAGE 1-E: Super League short summary rights from digital platforms
  • PACKAGE 1-F: Radio broadcasting rights of Super League and TFF 1st League matches
  • PACKAGE 2: The right of live broadcasting of Super League matches on international betting platforms
  • PACKAGE 3: The right to broadcast the Super League and TFF 1st League matches on international betting platforms in low resolution on Internet TV and GSM networks
  • PACKAGE 4: All broadcast rights in Package 1, Package 2 and Package 3
