Microsoft has updated some apps like Notepad and Task Manager in Windows 11 so far. The company’s next goal is to revamp File Explorer. Since the release of Windows 8, this app has not received any major updates. Here’s how the revamped File Explorer looks:
When we look at the new interface, we see that the tab feature is coming, similar to a web browser, as you can see. However, it is possible to say that the menu and address bar on the left and the search box have a more modern design.

Added new functionality to the address bar. You will now be able to search OneDrive files from here. In other words, when you search for a file, the search will be performed both on the computer and on the cloud, and the results will be listed.
On the other hand, when we look at the renewed File explorer, we see that there is a section called Recommended. According to the transferred information, files that you open frequently will be listed here. When you move the cursor over this file, the image will enlarge. In other words, you will be able to access quickly without having to open it. That’s all that is known about the revamped File Explorer for now.
Dynamic Lighting feature
Alongside the revamped File Explorer, Microsoft has also started testing the Dynamic Lighting feature. This feature makes it possible to change the RGB lighting of devices using the HID LampArray standard.
In other words, you will be able to easily change the lighting of your keyboard and mouse via Settings on your computer. As a result, you won’t need to download any additional drivers. Currently, products from some brands such as Razer, Logitech, ASUS and Acer support Dynamic Lighting. Microsoft will be collaborating with more brands in the near future.
