Despite continued supply chain challenges and factory closures beyond our control in the second quarter, we produced more than 258,000 vehicles and delivered more than 254,000 vehicles. June 2022 was the highest vehicle production month in Tesla’s history.
Tesla currently has four different models. We see that the majority of the company’s sales in this period are concentrated on two models. Accordingly, Tesla’s cheaper Model 3 and Model Y reached a total sales figure of 238 thousand 533 units. Model S and Model X, on the other hand, achieved 16,162 sales in this period.
If we come to the production amount, unlike the delivery figures, Tesla produced 242 thousand 169 Model 3 and Model Y units. It is stated that 16 thousand 411 were produced from Model S and X. The American manufacturer announced that it produced a total of 258 thousand 580 vehicles during this period.
