Tesla announced that it will end Steam support in its popular Model S and Model X vehicles. Thanks to this feature introduced in 2022, Steam was integrated into the vehicles and thousands of games became playable. The removal of Steam support will only affect new vehicle owners for now.
In the message sent by the automobile manufacturer to those who took delivery of the new Model S and Model “Tesla is updating the gaming computer in your Model X vehicle, this vehicle will no longer be able to run Steam games” said.

Other in-car entertainment features, such as Tesla Arcade, Netflix, YouTube and other streaming services, will not be affected by this decision.
