Terra Classic (LUNC) Announces Roadmap: “Trillions of Token Burning…”

Terra Classic (LUNC) altcoin TerraCVita, an independent group focused on development, has announced that its internal roadmap includes some adjustments that will allow trillions of LUNC tokens to be burned.

The announcement comes as the community sees token burning as a top priority as the campaign to revive the asset gains momentum.

A hint about the new roadmap was given with the following announcement from the official Twitter account of the TerraCVita group:

While some community members have taken the news well, others are not very excited and have highlighted that few organizations have made such promises in the past. One of them was the Lithosphere (LITHO) blockchain team, which released a roadmap in October with plans to burn up to 2.5 trillion LUNC.

With a current supply of 5.9 trillion tokens, LUNC’s circulating supply could be greatly reduced by the burning of trillions of tokens, which could greatly contribute to price action. However, with the limited information available, how this incineration will take place and the timetable are unknown. 35.7 billion LUNC tokens have been burned so far, of which 20.1 billion is Binance.

Time will tell if TerraCVita can keep its word.

In September, TerraCVita announced a partnership with High Stakes Switzerland, an organization that runs validators for PoS networks. With the partnership, High Stakes will launch a LUNC validator to help raise funds for the development of the network.
