Telephones Added to TRT’s e-Bandrol Application

The scope of TRT’s e-Bandrol system applied in electronic products has been expanded. Accordingly, phones, televisions, tablets, computers and smart watches can now be registered to the e-Bandrol system.

Thanks to the e-Bandrol system, which was implemented instead of physical banderols, consumers were able to control over e-Government and understand whether a product was ‘original’. Today’s issue of the Official Gazette covers those who produce the products in Turkey or import them to sell in Turkey, rather than those who use the aforementioned products. It concerns taxpayers.

In order for companies or individuals to benefit from this application, they must meet certain conditions.

According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette, taxpayers must meet certain conditions in order to benefit from the e-bandrol service. According to this;

  • 500 thousand units per year television,
  • 100,000 units per year computer,
  • 100,000 units per year phone,
  • 100,000 units per year tablet,
  • 100,000 units per year smart watch

taxpayers who manufacture, from the e-Bandrol application they can benefit. TRT will also have the authority to increase the production capacity conditions we have given above up to 4 times or to reduce it to zero. With this; If there is an irregularity regarding the serial number of the products, the e-Bandrol application will not be used. Despite the application product without banderol Taxpayers who are determined to sell their products will not be able to use the e-Bandrol application.

  • Step#3: Select the product you will query on the page that opens.
  • Step#4: Enter the requested information. (You can use *#06# code to learn phone IMEI code.)
  • Step#5: See the query result. If there is an e-Bandrol assigned for the product, you can be sure that the product is genuine.
