In the statement made by Twitter, “No user’s password information is stored in clear text in the e-Government Gate infrastructure, and it is only possible to log in to the system by comparing strong cryptographic algorithms for passwords and irreversible summary information.”
Stating that disinformation studies are carried out in various forums, e-Government stated that it was determined that the incidents had nothing to do with the infrastructure. Accordingly, the e-Government Gateway is operated in accordance with international information security and business continuity management standards, and the security of the services offered is regularly tested by independent security organizations.
