The free wi-fi application offered by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Information Technology Department and IMM subsidiary ISTTELKOM can be used unlimitedly for 10 days for the 100th Anniversary of our Republic. IBB Wi-Fi free, free and secure internet service, with a monthly limit of 60 GB, will be unlimited between 21-31 October, specially for Republic Day.
It is possible to access the IBB Wi-Fi service only through the ‘Istanbul Yours’ super application. With the application, for the first 3 months, Istanbulites have a 60 GB usage right that they can use as they wish. Users can also monitor their remaining quota information in real time.

How to use IBB Wi-Fi?
To benefit from the free IBB Wi-Fi service offered by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, you must first download the IBB Wi-Fi mini application to your phone and register. After downloading the application, you can see the nearest IMM Wi-Fi hotspots on the map by giving location permission.
To connect to IBB Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
- Open the IBB Wi-Fi mini application on your phone.
- Tap the “Connect to IBB Wi-Fi” button.
- Tap the “Allow Location” button.
- You will see IMM Wi-Fi hotspots on the map. Tap the point you want to connect to.
- Tap the “Connect” button.
No password or username is required to connect to IBB Wi-Fi. After opening the application, you can connect to the internet with one click by following the steps above.

Where is IBB Wi-Fi available?
IBB Wi-Fi is available in many points of Istanbul. There are IBB Wi-Fi connection points in public transportation vehicles, squares, parks, piers, libraries, cultural centers, universities, sports facilities and touristic social areas.

IMM Wi-Fi users are allocated a daily quota of 60 GB. Users whose quota is full can connect to the internet again after 24 hours.
