Lenovo Product Manager Lin Lin has recently officially announced some of the technical features of the Legion Y90, with a screenshot he shared on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
It is certain that the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Produced with a 4 nm fabrication process, the chipset hosts one 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, three 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, in addition to the Adreno 730 graphics unit.
The device will come with 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM, which can provide up to 4GB of additional memory. If the virtual RAM feature is activated, the amount of memory will increase up to 22 GB.
Apart from that, it is worth noting that 512 GB and 128 GB SSD storage with UFS 3.1 support is combined on the phone and a total of 640 GB storage is offered. On the other hand, it is expected that there will be different options on the memory side.
The smartphone will feature an AMOLED panel that offers 144 Hz refresh and 720 Hz touch sampling rate. It will also be powered by a dual-cell 5,600mAh battery with 68W charging support.
The smartphone, which is announced to have RGB supported dual cooling fans and liquid cooling system in order to keep the temperature at a minimum in situations that require intense processing power such as gaming, will be presented to users with dual stereo speakers signed by Dolby Atmos.
