Smart Investor Flocked To These Cryptocurrencies In April: CoinShares

A prominent crypto asset manager explained that exits in institutional investment products were slowed last week, thanks to continued investment in altcoin-focused products.

In its latest Digital Asset Fund Flows Weekly report, CoinShares found that crypto investment products have seen small outflows over the past week.

“Exits from digital asset investment products calmed last week, totaling $7.2 million. In the last 3-week term, the total outflows reached $219 million.”

CoinShares stated that despite the outflows in the three-week period, that is, since the beginning of the month, annual inflows still remain positive at $ 389 million.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) focused investment products have seen $178 million and $16.9 million respectively since the beginning of the month, while altcoins such as Avalanche (AVAX), Solana (SOL), Terra (LUNA) and Algorand (ALGO) focused investment products enjoyed modest inflows.

“With notable inflows of $1.8 million, $0.8 million, $0.7 million and $0.2 million, respectively, in Avalanche, Solana, Terra and Algorand, altcoins remain a focus among investors.”

CoinShares also added that the number of crypto investment products launched has slowed in the last four months compared to the 4th quarter of 2021.

Among them, he focused on altcoins Avalanche, Tezos, and Terra, with assets under management of $49 million, $30 million, and $16 million, respectively.”

Finally, the firm made the following assessment about blockchain stocks:
