Lead developer of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) team Shytoshi Kusamamade a post that things will be interesting after a development that will be announced next week. While the community was excited about this news, Kusama gave some information about the development.
Shytoshi Kusama, the team’s lead developer, said in a statement on his Twitter account: “Thanks for letting me stay quiet this week. Things will start to get interesting next week.”

Could a Shiba Inu Game Launch Be On The Way?
Kusama also commented on the play-to-win (P2E) game currently being developed by Playside Studios and veteran game developer William Volk.
Kusama noted that he saw some graphics of the highly anticipated Shiba Inu Collectible Card Game (SHIB CCG) and was impressed with the way things were going on the project. The lead developer also noted that he wanted to share some of the ‘artwork (he may mean models)’ included in the game with the community to give more details on what they might encounter in the future.

SHIB Wants To Prove It’s More Than Meme Coin
The team seems determined to launch SHIB CCG in earnest to further increase the utility of the native token SHIB and further demonstrate that Shiba Inu is more than just a meme coin.
Commenting last week, Kusama shared that as part of game development, the team wrote a SHIB story to make CCG’s story more interesting than just memes and battle cards.

Meanwhile, many interesting developments have been announced in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, earlier this week the team began handing out rewards to participants in the official Shiba Inu cremation program.
The team also announced a partnership with Red Bull to further increase the utility of the cryptocurrency.
