Shiba Inu (SHIB)has taken another step into the metaverse universe. The Shiba Inu team has officially stepped into a metaverse project, also known as “The Metaverse,” and the owners also gained some new insights by going through the Shiba Lands acquisition process.
It comes via a ShibaSwap blog post that was first teased by the official SHIB Twitter account on March 28. Shiba Inu LandsThe Shiba metaverse, consisting of virtual real estate in , was previously coded as Shiberse. As with other projects in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, it will contribute to SHIB burns.

More information about the SHIB metaverse map and virtual real estate consisting of 100,595 plots of land was also included in the related article. The map also introduced 4 separate regions: Growth District, Breed District, Technology District and Currency District.

The related blog post also introduced a passive income for SHIB metaverse holders. According to the post, buying a land on this platform is not only an isolated investment, but also an important way to be a short, medium and long-term part of the project.
On the other hand, no release date information was given about The Metaverse. But the blog post revealed that Shiba welcomes an AAA game studio on board to help build the project.
Announcing that it will announce its name “next week”, this studio will assume the artistic direction of the metaverse. While we don’t know the studio yet, it’s expected to be similar to Shiba Inu Games developer PlaySide Studio.

As Shiba Discord moderator Queenie has calculated, this development could result in the burning of 80 billion SHIB tokens.
