Netherlands-based shared mobility startup GO Sharing started operating in Istanbul with 300 electric mopeds. From now on, users will be able to rent green shared e-mopeds 24/7 via the GO Sharing application, with prices starting from 1.99 TL per minute, without registration and opening fees.
GO Sharing, whose mission is to transform urban transportation from traditional vehicle ownership to shared use with environmentally friendly electric mobility solutions, also aims to offer a solution to the traffic and parking problem in Istanbul with its e-mopeds that can reach a speed of 45 kilometers per hour.
No more traffic problems with GO Sharing
Operating in 30 European cities with more than 10,000 electric mopeds and bicycles, GO Sharing, with its green mopeds, is now available to Istanbul residents after the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Germany.
It should be noted that you must have a valid driver’s license in order to use the platform system, which allows you to travel at a maximum speed of 45 kilometers per hour in the city. Accordingly, anyone with an M, A or B class license will be able to easily use electric mopeds.
In addition, since the use of a helmet is mandatory while driving the moped, there are also two helmets and hair nets in the rear bags of all mopeds. Istanbul, one of the cities in the world where you spend the most time in traffic, is positioned as the sixth city where GO Sharing carries out its activities outside the Netherlands.
GO Sharing, which started to serve with its electric mopeds in Vienna of Austria and Antwerp of Belgium, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Saarbrücken and Neuss of Germany, is now on the European side of Istanbul in the pilot region covering Beyoğlu, Şişli, Beşiktaş and Sarıyer. aims to provide a solution to the traffic and parking problem.
