September Report: Core Scientific’s Bitcoin Production Drops

Core Scientific, one of the world’s largest bitcoin (BTC) miners, produced a smaller amount compared to the previous month.

Core Scientific, which provides hosting services to both mining and other companies, 1,213 bitcoins produced. Thus, the company’s monthly production amount decreased by 9% compared to the previous month.

Although the company’s production performance has decreased, the hash rate has increased by 2.4%.

According to the statements made by Core Scientific CEO Mike Levitt, the decrease in the company’s bitcoin production, “climate events” and more different “unprecedented events” is based.

Another reason why Core Scientific produced a smaller amount of bitcoin compared to the previous month is that bitcoin mining started on August 31st. 9.26% more difficult it might be.
