IO Interactive announced the new name of HITMAN 3 with the blog post it shared today morning. From January 26, 2023, the series, HITMAN World of Assassination will be named. It will also be available for free to HITMAN 3 owners on all platforms. In a statement, the company announced that the first two games of the trilogy will be added to the new version for free with the new name.

As part of the Games with Gold program, Microsoft announced January 2023 games exclusive to Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate members.
”We’re greatly simplifying the purchasing experience for new players. HITMAN World of Assassination will be the only option available to start playing. Basically, these changes will mean that all new players and existing HITMAN 3 owners will have the same content.”
