Russia’s war against Ukraine – all developments

For the first time, the Russian military has admitted losses in the invasion of Ukraine. “There are dead and wounded among our comrades,” said Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense in Moscow, on Sunday. He did not give figures, but added that Russia’s losses were “many times” lower than those of the Ukrainian forces. Ukraine has said its forces killed 3,500 Russian soldiers.

Konashenkov added that since the invasion began on Thursday, the Russian military has destroyed 1,067 Ukrainian military installations, including 27 command posts and communications centers, as well as 38 anti-aircraft missile systems and 56 radar stations.

Neither the message from the ministry spokesman nor Ukrainian information about the number of Russian soldiers killed could be independently confirmed.
