As countries that supply military equipment, NATO named next to Germany also Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Deliveries of anti-tank missiles of the Javelin type and anti-aircraft missiles were particularly highlighted.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed the efforts of the alliance members. “Self-defense is a right enshrined in the United Nations Charter and the allies are helping Ukraine to uphold this right,” the Norwegian said on Sunday. “This is a clear signal of NATO’s full support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
