Dusseldorf Twelve days after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the situation of hundreds of thousands of people in the attacked cities is getting worse. The Ukrainian government is calling for an immediate evacuation from the cities.
There are already several dozen cities in eight regions in the country where the humanitarian situation is catastrophic, the online newspaper Ukrajinska Pravda reported, citing the Office of the President. The office also accuses Russia of using humanitarian corridors as an excuse to strengthen its own military positions.
