Santander, one of the largest banking companies in the world, imposes restrictions on cryptocurrency users in the UK.
Spain-based banking giant Santader’s UK arm, Santander UK, is for crypto users. A limit of £1,000 started to implement.
If the 30-day transaction limit for Santander UK customers is £3,360 will be worth it.
These restrictions will only apply to users trying to send money from their Santander account to any cryptocurrency platform.
Santander customers from cryptocurrency platforms withdraw money from bank accounts they will not encounter any restrictions when they work.
According to the statement made by Santander management, these restrictions are “protecting customers” implemented for. Santander explains:
“We think we are keeping you as safe as possible by limiting the amount of money that can be sent to cryptocurrency exchanges.”
