Resident Evil 9 release date leaked!

It looks like we won’t have to wait too long for the next game of Capcom’s popular horror series Resident Evil. At least according to the latest leaks released by Dusk Golem, who was previously known for leaking Silent Hill: The Short Message. He also leaked Resident Evil 9 gameplay mechanics.

On the X platform, Dusk Golem claims that Resident Evil 9 will be released in 2025 and will be announced soon. “If what I heard before is true, the release should be in January,” the leaker wrote. Although it has not been officially confirmed yet, the release period for Capcom’s Resident Evil games has been quite regular.

Capcom, which released Resident Evil 7 in 2017, has since released four major games, either a sequel or remake, every two years. As you know, the latest one was last year’s Resident Evil 4 remake. The years 2018, 2022 and 2024 are the years in which Capcom did not release the main series game.

Dusk Golem claims that Resident Evil 9 originally began development in 2018, around the same time Village entered development. Both games could potentially have become Resident Evil 8, with Village eventually becoming a reality while Resident Evil 9 remained in development.

If the claim is true, Resident Eil 9 will be the game with the longest development time in the series. In addition, according to another claim of the leaker, the game will have the largest budget in the series.

Sony took a step back! Helldivers 2 players’ protest yielded results

Sony, which recently required opening a PSN account on PC, welcomed Helldivers 2 players. The company took a step back.

In previous leaks, Dusk Golem claimed that RE9 could potentially be an open-world game. As an additional note, fans of the series want Resident Evil 9 not to be in the FPS genre. What are you thinking? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
