Separate Ways fills in the unanswered questions in the main story by telling the story of Ada Wong and her parallel journey through the events of Resident Evil 4. Capcom producer Edvin Edsö said in a post on the PlayStation Blog that the full story will be revealed as we see both sides of events from both Ada and Leon’s perspectives.
According to Capcom, the Island was there before Leon S. Kennedy even set foot in that cursed village. So what was Ada’s mission? His mission was to retrieve Amber, the cult’s darkest secret.

Now Ada must deal with an unknown threat eating her inside, an accomplice with a dark past and ulterior motives, and the chance to be reunited with the man she least expected: Leon S. Kennedy.
Why did he accept this assignment? And how will he chart a path for himself in the shadow of Leon’s investigation into the kidnapping of the president’s daughter? We will briefly experience these plots in the story.
Seperate Ways follows Ada Wong as she infiltrates a deserted European village at the behest of Albert Wesker, along with Ada’s accomplice Luis Serra, who is sworn to help her find Amber, and the aforementioned Wesker, who is obsessed with Amber.
The island features weapons from the original game, as well as a grappling hook and Leon’s knife fighting mechanic from Resident Evil 4. The grappling hook can be used to reach new locations, take out enemies from a distance, and launch a ranged melee attack. Capcom states that the hook provides a more exciting and fast-paced gaming experience.

Resident Evil 4, one of the legends of the action-survival game genre, returns with Remake. The production will be released on March 24.
Meanwhile, the free The Mercenaries mode update is coming to Resident Evil 4 on the same day, September 21. This update includes new playable characters Ada Wong and Albert Wesker. The free update is expected to be released this winter.
Finally, Capcom also released a gameplay trailer for Resident Evil 4 VR Mode running on PSVR2. An additional gameplay trailer for the Seperate Ways DLC will also be released on September 18.
