Research: Couples Who Drink Together Live Longer

One study found that couples with similar drinking habits lived longer than those who drank heavily or did not drink at all.

Researchers from the University of Michigan in the USA published a study that closely concerns couples who like to drink alcohol together. The findings showed that couples with similar drinking habits lived longer observed.

These results were reached with data obtained from more than 9 thousand heterosexual, married or cohabiting people in the USA. The research findings were published via The Gerontologist.

It has been observed that people who drink less or at normal levels live longer

Research shows that drinking level also matters. According to this consuming little or normal levels couples live longer than those who do not have this habit. In other words, there is no such situation in those who do not drink at all or those who drink a lot. In addition, this situation was not observed in couples where one partner drank a lot and the other did not drink at all.
