Xiaomi Redmi 12C was introduced at the launch on January 1, 2023, at an affordable price, and was first offered for sale in Xiaomi’s home country China. Later, it started to be released in other countries, and finally in Turkey, it was offered for sale on Xiaomi’s official sales site Mi Store.
The phone has a 6.71 inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1650 x 720 HD+. Offering 500 nits of brightness even in low light, the screen also has some display technologies for a better video and gaming experience along with the reading mode feature.
The device uses the Helio G85 processor manufactured by MediaTek. This chipset has gone through a 12 nm fabrication process and consists of 8 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz.
On the back of the Redmi 12C, there is a 50 Megapixel main camera with f / 1.8 aperture and an accompanying depth sensor. The main camera can record 30 FPS video at 1080p resolution. On the front, there is a 5 Megapixel selfie camera.
The phone, which has a 5000 mAh battery, has a 10W charging feature. In addition, the device, which is offered for sale in 4 GB RAM + 64 GB and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB versions, uses GBLPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage hardware. There is also an option to upgrade up to 1 TB for those with insufficient storage capacity.
The phone, which is 168.76 mm high, 76.41 mm wide and 8.77 mm thick, weighs 192 grams. Redmi 12C, which is appreciated with its drop-shaped notch on the front, is offered to users in Graphite gray, ocean blue, mint green and lavender purple color options.
