Realme was one of the companies that took the stage after Huawei was blacklisted in 2019 and lost its weight in the industry. The manufacturer, which started its activities as a sub-brand of OPPO in 2018, has an important place in the Chinese market today. Continuing to work in this direction, the company recently showcased the Realme GT 2 series.
Realme GT 2 series technical specifications
Realme GT 2 has a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel with 1080 x 2400 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The Pro model of the series, on the other hand, offers a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate (LTPO 2.0) and 2K resolution HDR10 + support.
GT 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Produced with a 5 nm fabrication process, the chipset hosts an Adreno 660 graphics chip in addition to one 2.84 GHz ARM Cortex-X1 (Kryo 680), three 2.42 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores.
The GT 2 Pro comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor introduced in the past weeks. Produced with a 4 nm fabrication process, the chipset will include a 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, three 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, in addition to the Adreno graphics unit.
The standard model of the series has 128 GB + 8 GB RAM, 256 GB + 8 GB RAM, 256 GB + 12 GB RAM options, while the Pro model has 128 GB + 8 GB RAM, 256 GB + 8 GB RAM, 256 GB + 12 GB RAM. 512 GB + 12 GB RAM options were offered to users.
Realme GT 2 has a triple camera setup consisting of 50 Megapixel main + 8 Megapixel ultra wide angle + 2 Megapixel depth sensors accompanied by a 16 Megapixel selfie camera, while in GT 2 Pro it is 50 Megapixel main + 50 Megapixel ultra wide paired with a 32 Megapixel front camera. Finally, it should be noted that both devices are powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support and will run Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 interface right out of the box.
