RB Leipzig: easy 2-0 test victory against Eilenburg – Bundesliga

With a C-Elf, RB fourth division Eilenburg defeated 2: 1 (1: 0). Coach Jesse Marsch (48) had given most of the professionals short notice to regenerate – from the A-squad only Ilaix Moriba, Benjamin Henrichs and Philipp Tschauner were on the field.

351 spectators see little offensive spectacle in freezing temperatures on Cottaweg, especially in the first round, as regional division Eilenburg holds up well after seven points from three games with a wide chest.

The only highlight of the first half: In the 38th minute, newcomer Moriba starts the magic solo across the entire pitch, then serves Joscha Wosz in an exemplary manner, who fails to Eilenburg keeper Christopher Schulz. U19 player Kacper Smorgol is spot on and slides in the rebound for the first hit.

In the second section an unchanged picture: RB makes the game, lets Eilenburg run and makes it 2-0 through Mehmet Ibrahimi in the 71st minute. Shortly before the end, Nils Tzeuschner made the Eilenburg consolation goal (87th).

As a reward for the win, the pros now have a few days off before the Bulls start preparing for the game at TSG Hoffenheim from next Tuesday.
