Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the law banning digital payment options in Russia.
This law banning digital payment transactions was approved by the Russian State Duma on July 8.
In return for goods and services, digital security or utility token forbids payment.
Russia’s desire to impose a ban on digital payment transactions is not new. In a draft law prepared by the government on digital assets in 2020, prohibiting the use of cryptocurrencies for payment had suggested.
Digital asset exchanges operating in Russia must comply with this law. transactions for payment will have to block.
