Istanbul taxi, shuttle and public transportation prices – 2024
At the January meeting of UKOME, taxi and shuttle fares were increased by 28.09 percent, and public transportation vehicles affiliated with IMM were increased by 18 percent.
New public transport fares
Istanbul card was 17.7 lira, student 8.64 lira, social card (teacher and 60 years old) 12.68 lira. Blue card is 1388 liras per month, student 250 liras, social card (teachers and 60 years old) 863 liras. Metrobus full ticket is 26.25 lira, student 8.64 lira, social card (teachers and 60 years old) 14.40 lira.

Hop-on-hop-off fare increase
Taxi and service fees in Istanbul were increased by 28.09%. The starting price for yellow taxis was 24.55 lira, 17.62 lira per kilometer, and 90 lira for hop-on and hop-off. The starting price for Turquoise taxis was 28.24 lira, 20.25 lira per kilometer, and 102.5 lira for hop-on and hop-off. The starting price for VIP taxis was 41.74 lira, 32.5 lira per kilometer, and 153.7 lira for hop-on and hop-off. The starting price for 8+1 taxis was 31.92 lira, 22.90 lira per kilometer, and 115.3 lira for hop-on and hop-off.
The lowest service fee will be 1665 TL
Effective after the second semester break, the monthly 0-1 km fee for the school bus, which was 1300 TL, was increased to 1665 TL, and the first departure fee for the vehicle with a capacity of 10-17 seats in the personnel bus was increased from 675 TL to 865 TL.
0-1 kilometer school bus is 1.665 lira, 1-3 kilometers is 1.783 lira, 3-5 kilometers is 1.926 lira, 5-7 kilometers is 2.08 lira, 7-9 kilometers is 2.117 lira, 9-11 kilometers is 2.000 lira. 451 liras, 11-13 kilometers 2 thousand 821 liras, 13-15 kilometers 2 thousand 965 liras, 15-17 kilometers 3 thousand 199 liras, 17-19 kilometers 3 thousand 384 liras, 19-21 kilometers 3 thousand 600 liras, 21- 23 kilometers was 3 thousand 750 liras, 23-25 kilometers was 3 thousand 896 liras.
Transfer fees have also increased
The cost of 1 transfer was 12.67 lira for a full ticket, 3.79 lira for students, and 7.60 lira for a social card. The fee for 2 transfers was 9.62 lira, student 3.57 lira and social card 5.81 lira.
