Producer of Ayla and Müslüm Leaves Turkey

The producer whom most of us know as “the producer of Ayla and Müslüm” Mustafa Usluannounced that he decided to leave Turkey. Uslu, who we know mostly for his films in which he tells biographies and historical events, explained the reason for leaving Turkey as the events that happened to the movie Neşet Ertaş, another biography of him, and the financial problems he experienced.

According to Mustafa Uslu’s statements, the film was shot with bank loans and as a result of its failure to be released, there was a financial loss of millions of dollars. Due to this financial damage, Uslu decided to move to Germany with his family.

“Making a movie in Turkey is very difficult. Neşet Ertaş’s movie $4.5 million we spent. The heirs of the late Neşet Ertaş filed a lawsuit on the grounds that their personal rights were violated. Unfortunately, the court where the case was heard prevented our film from being released without even watching it or receiving an expert report. For this reason, I could not pay my loan debts from the bank for the film, and I became a bailiff.

Unfortunately, the bank that restructured Serdar Ortaç’s gambling debt 7 times did not accept my request. I have difficulty even paying my children’s school installments., I get into the rental car. I decided to leave my beloved country with my family. We leave sad and humbled. We will live in Germany. We will try to realize our next dreams there, bye.”
