Hyundai, which is assertive in the sales of electric cars in our country, is starting to publish its new prices in no time. With Kona Electric and IONIQ 5, Hyundai updated its prices in the Turkish market. Accordingly, there are discounts up to 390 thousand TL, depending on the models and versions.
With the new electric vehicle SCT assessment update, all versions of Kona Electric have fallen into the 10 percent tax bracket. In addition, the 125 kW version of the IONIQ 5 will now be taxed at 10 percent instead of 40 percent. The all-wheel drive version of the IONIQ 5 has fallen from the 60% tax bracket to the 50% tax bracket.

With this calculation, it is striking that there is a discount of more than 250 thousand TL on the vehicle. In the most expensive version of Kona, the discount is at the level of 300 thousand liras. The price of this version has decreased from 1 million 414 thousand TL to 1 million 111 thousand 881 TL.
When we move on to the IONIQ 5 front, we see a much more serious discount. The price of the single-engine 125 kW version of the IONIQ 5 model decreased from 1 million 828 thousand TL to 1 million 437 thousand 167 TL. This significant price difference was made possible by the reduction of the vehicle from the 40 percent tax bracket to 10 percent. On the other hand, the price reduction was limited to 140 thousand TL in the all-wheel drive version, which fell from 60 percent to 50 percent.
