Will Erdogan Talk About Cryptocurrencies?

While states have positive thoughts about the possibilities provided by blockchain technology, we see that the same thoughts do not apply to cryptocurrencies built on this technology.

Given that cryptocurrencies are competing with government-issued coins, we see concerns that this could devalue local currencies.

Although there are opinions within the AK Party that cryptocurrencies can be useful, President Erdogan is distant from cryptocurrencies.

We will never give them such a premium, nor will we. Because right now, we will continue with our own money on this issue.” he said.
