Taipei, Seoul At 3:28 p.m., a loud bang sounds in the center of Taiwan’s capital, Taipei. A column of smoke rises in front of the Stadthalle. Helpers immediately rush over and extinguish the fire, a few seconds later fire engines arrive with wailing sirens. At 3:32 p.m. the next explosion. Only ten meters away is an overturned bus, the passengers inside are knocking on the window, calling for help.

It goes like this for around half an hour: more and more explosions, rescue workers rushing to help the victims – by 4 p.m. the whole spook is over.
