Volatility Based Measure System (VBTS), including GIPTA Stationery, which has a new public offering, Atakule GYO, CEO Event Media, Işıklar Energy Building And Pinar Water Short sales and margin transactions will not be possible for its shares from transactions dated 21 September (beginning of the session) to transactions dated 20 October (until the end of the session).
The following statements were used in the statement made by Borsa Istanbul to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP):
“Within the framework of the Volatility Based Measure System (VBTS) implemented in accordance with the decision of the Capital Markets Board, transactions dated 21/09/2023 (from the beginning of the session) for AGYO.E, CEOEM.E, GIPTA.E, IEYHO.E and PINSU.E shares ) There is no authority to make short sales and credit transactions for transactions dated 20/10/2023 (until the end of the session).
Remember: VBTS measures are implemented regardless of the trading rules of the market or platform on which the stock is traded, market changes or other reasons. Therefore, VBTS measures continue to be implemented until the measure period expires, regardless of the validity period of the transaction rules determined by other regulations or decisions.
According to the decision of the Capital Markets Board dated 06/02/2023, Borsa Istanbul A.Ş. “Short selling transactions in all shares are prohibited until a new announcement is made in the Equity Market.”
