A popular blockchain-based metaverse gaming platform. The Sandbox (SAND) altcoin, companies cryptocurrency announced a new partnership with Ledger Enterprise, an infrastructure solutions provider for asset protection.
Ledger Enterprise Announces Partnership With The Sandbox Altcoin
The aim of the partnership is reported to be to provide seamless security integration to The Sandbox’s corporate brand partners, while also simplifying the process of securing their LANDs (NFTs representing virtual terrain within the metaverse).
The partnership will include several initiatives such as adding The Sandbox to Ledger Enterprise as a decentralized application, integrating a widget for The Sandbox into the Ledger Live desktop application, and recommending Ledger Enterprise to The Sandbox’s LAND owner ecosystem.
Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, claiming that it will make it easier and safer for individuals and brands to succeed in the metaverse.
Similarly, Ledger Corporate President Alex Zinder said the partnership will provide the peace of mind that businesses and consumers deserve, given the increasing hacks, scams and mismanagement in the overall market.
At the time of this writing, the SAND price is trading at $0.65, well away from its all-time high of $8.44.
SAND was one of the leading altcoins in the great Metaverse hype in the fall of 2021 and was making a name for itself with the records it broke.
