According to the information received, the delay is due to some development plans on the product. One of the most ambitious features of PlayStation VR2 is that it has an AMOLED screen. With the delay, it will reportedly come with a pixel density higher than 800 PPI, which is considered the peak for AMOLED displays.
PlayStation VR2 seems to have been influenced by the PlayStation 5 console in its design lines. The product, which has a predominantly white design, comes with four front cameras. In addition, Sony announced the new game of the Horizon series specifically for the virtual reality platform in the past months.
PlayStation VR2 virtual reality glasses will be released with 4K resolution support. The product, which is expected to come with an increased field of view of 110 degrees, will also have an eye tracking system, glasses feedback, 3D Audio and the innovative PS VR2 Sense controller.
