Picture-in-picture mode for WhatsApp video conversations is currently in testing with the iOS beta 22.24.0.79 update. It is not yet known when it will come to the stable version. The innovation is thought to be compatible with iOS 15 and above updates. But there is no evidence of that. In the tests conducted by WABetaInfo, it has been confirmed that the innovation works with at least iOS 16.1 update.

WhatsApp is also working on 21 new emojis. New emojis with pink hearts, penguins and various categories are in the testing phase. The platform also recreates the design of the eight emojis it contains. These include the pleading face emoji and the tear-filled emoji and many more. It is not yet clear when the new emojis will come to the stable version for WhatsApp.
