Photographer Recreating Lord of the Rings Scenes

Photographer Şafak Aslan has been exploring the regions where The Lord of the Rings was filmed for nearly two years, and reenacting scenes from the movies in photo frames. In addition to the fun photos that emerged, this wonderful journey of Aslan is the kind that will make all Lord of the Rings fans jealous.

You are in New Zealand, you go on pleasant and somewhat challenging nature walks and you have a purpose; in Lord of the Rings exploring the regions where the iconic scenes we watch were filmed. Photographer Şafak Aslan has been sharing photos like these from New Zealand for a long time.

In fact, some iconic areas such as the ‘Hobbit Village’, which we wandered through in Lord of the Rings, are already open to tourism and it is possible to visit these sets. However, Aslan mountain peak travel exploring filming locations and that’s the kind of job only a true fan would do.

Şafak Aslan, in her own words, in January 2020 resigned and started his New Zealand adventure. Aslan, who is a true Lord of the Rings fan, soon started to explore the areas where the shooting was done.
