He also rejected criticism from countries and doctors about allegedly inadequate vaccine deliveries. This week seven million vaccine doses were delivered and 3.5 million people were vaccinated. On Monday and Tuesday, the federal government will deliver another ten to eleven million. Then around 14 million cans would be available. It could still happen that there is not as much vaccine as desired locally for logistical reasons. However, some countries would have missed the weekly order deadline that has existed since April until noon on Tuesday for the following week.
