“Page One” in Google Search Results Becomes Date

Google has announced that it will no longer list search results page by page. All results will be available on a single page with infinite scrolling.

When you do a search on the desktop version of Google, you now come across a feature that is described as ‘out of date’ in the internet world. Search results instead of appearing on a single page in sequential pages exists. We make the transition between these pages manually, by clicking on the page number.

But today, it was announced that there will be a big change in search results. Google offers in the mobile version ‘infinite scrollannounced that the ‘ feature will also be available in the desktop version.

Going through page by page for the continuation of the search results is a thing of the past:

With the new infinite scroll, you will no longer have to scroll through the results page by page when you do a search on Google. Normally 6 pages search results that occupy the space will now appear on a single page.

When you come to the end of these results, you will see “More” option will appear. When you click on this option, Google will list different search results within the same page.

The feature will be useful for users as well as creators:

The struggle to appear on the first page of Google will now partially end. Now with the results listed on a single page many more websites access will be available. Of course, the only struggle now will be to get to the top.
