Opera, a web browser, announced in a statement that the Opera native crypto wallet will support Solana in early 2022.
Opera, which has been working to become a Web3 supported browser since 2018, also has the feature of being the first browser with crypto money and Blockchain support.
In addition, Opera said in its statement that they will be “the first browser to support Solana-based applications”.
Brave, another browser that competes with Opera, said in a statement last month that they would launch a local crypto wallet. It remains unclear who will act first from Brave and Opera, which say they will launch crypto startups in the same time frame.
Norwegian publicly traded advertising firm DefiLlama said it will work with Opera on the integration of crypto startup Solana Labs.
