Open and Distance Education exams postponed!

An earthquake of 7.7 magnitude occurred at 04:17 in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş province today. Surrounding provinces, especially Hatay, Adana, Osmaniye, Diyarbakır, Malatya and Şanlıurfa, were also affected by the earthquake.

After more than 100 and up to 6.6 aftershocks that took place later, another 7.6 earthquake occurred at 13:24, according to AFAD data. After that, Atatürk University announced that the Open Education Faculty exams were postponed.

In the message sent by Atatürk University to the mobile phones of the students, it was said:

“Due to the earthquake in our country, Atatürk University Open and Distance Education Faculty make-up exams, which will be held on February 11 and 12, 2023, have been postponed to a later date for all of Turkey and Baku.”
